Explore Beyond Your Boundaries – Learning Will Lead You There Note_01

One of the greatest challenges one will ever face is to get beyond oneself. Can you grow beyond your education? You see, education can give you the skills needed to build, but only inspiration and determination can make something extraordinary with them.

e.e. cummings said,

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.

The one thing I want to share with you, that once learned, you must remember every time you begin something new is that:

Every accepted convention of writing, painting, sculpting, drawing, leading, or any other mode of creative expression or human endeavor was once new, unfamiliar, abrasive to the eye and ear of some first viewer and hearer, derided by naysayers, and mocked by the ignorant. If inspiration goads you beyond the boundaries of the accepted, explore those undiscovered regions of your mind. You may open the door to a brave and beautiful new world.
